In the future, Interboot will provide all visitors with a wealth of water sports expertise and an uncomplicated ticket-purchasing experience. The event is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 29, 2024, and will feature two changes to the existing concept: In addition to the change in the duration of Interboot from nine to five days, all water sports enthusiasts will now also have access to the diving and travel trade fair InterDive (September 26 to 29, 2024) with their admission ticket purchase.
For years, Interboot in Friedrichshafen has been the go-to destination for all things that float and bring joy on the water, including sailing and motor yachts, electric boats, and wakeboards, as well as clothing and accessories. As a closely related trade fair focusing on the activities of diving, snorkeling, and diving travel, the guest event InterDive complements the Interboot water sports portfolio by showcasing everything that happens underneath the surface of the water. “The idea of consolidating two tickets into one and selling them through a single ticket store has been a topic of discussion for some time now. This approach aims to streamline logistics and is expected to also draw more visitors to the other trade fair in each case,” reports Interboot Project Manager Felix Klarmann, who is thrilled with the new synergies: “We are providing a platform that will enable boat enthusiasts and diving fans to come into contact with each other more easily and gain greater insight into other water sports activities. We are aiming to create a win-win situation for Interboot, InterDive, and all attendees.”
Interboot and InterDive have been held under the same roof and at the same time for several years – and the need for two separate tickets for the two fairs is now a thing of the past! Walter Harscher, organizer of InterDive, provides the following further clarification: “The implementation of a single ticket system provides significant organizational benefits, and we are excited to be rolling out a very visitor-friendly solution in the near future. By aligning more closely with Interboot, we aim to drive a substantial rise in visitor turnout.”
Thanks to the diverse range of lectures and supporting activities, attendees at Interboot will be able to fully immerse themselves in the underwater world, while the InterDive audience will have the opportunity to discover the newest trends, innovations, and products relating to motorboats, sailing boats and fun sports.
